    Speaker Notes: Several measures can effectively prevent or control hazards at retail establishments. The selection of any measure should be based on the hazards identified in the workplace security analysis.

    Given that late-night retail business are prone to robberies, employers should seek to reduce their risk by improving visibility and surveillance, controlling customers’ access and limiting the availability of cash.
