There is extremely limited parking in and around the Department of Labor Francis Perkins Building.

Visitor instructions for the Francis Perkins Building:

  • The Department of Labor is located at 200 Constitution Avenue N.W., Washington, DC. However, you must use the visitor's entrance which is located on 3rd Street at the intersection with C Street N.W. The visitor's entrance is clearly marked with signs and is located near a large water fountain, which is currently not in operation.
  • You will be asked to provide a photo ID; usually visitors provide their driver's license or employee identification card.  The Security guards will hold your photo ID and issue you a temporary building pass. It is at this time that security will advise us that you have arrived. Your personal belongings will be "x-rayed" and may be subject to search.
  • A staff member will sign you in and escort you to our meeting room and ensure that your ID is returned to you when you exit the building.
