OSHA Promotes Worker Rights at Philadelphia Health Fair

Representatives from OSHA and the U.S. Department of Labor's Employment Benefits Security Administration (EBSA) were among the many community groups and government agencies that participated in the "Salud a tu Alcance" (Health at Your Fingertips) Latino Health Fair on October 14, 2011, in Philadelphia. The event was organized by Impacto Latin Newspaper, a newspaper for the Hispanic community in Philadelphia, and included fitness screenings and information booths about healthy living in the Latino community. Representatives from OSHA's Philadelphia Regional Office participated in a panel discussion about worker rights and resources for workers available from OSHA and EBSA. OSHA also provided a tabletop exhibit where an OSHA representatives answered questions and distributed OSHA publications in English and Spanish.
