January 3, 2014

  1. Alliance Background
  2. Date Signed/Renewed

Originally signed 12/9/2003, amended to add St. Louis Area Office 10/22/2004, renewed 10/13/2006, renewed 9/9/2009, renewed 5/2/2011. The alliance was allowed to expire on 12/9/2013.

    Overview

The purpose of the alliance was to provide members and others with information, guidance, and access to training resources. Through the alliance, the organizations worked to improve the health and safety in the workplace by helping businesses, small businesses in particular, in their efforts to implement effective safety and health management systems.

  8. Upcoming Milestones
  9. The alliance was allowed to expire, primarily due to the fact that sequestration prevented the Area Office from traveling to southern Missouri to participate in SCO events. Another factor at this time is that the KCAO CAS retired from OSHA, and the position is yet to be filled. At the time the position is filled, the Area Office may elect to re-visit the alliance program with the SCO.
