    3. Overview

      The U. S. Department of Labor's (DOL) Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Little Rock and Oklahoma City Area Offices, the Arkansas Department of Labor OSHA Consultation Service and the Consulate of Mexico in Little Rock, Arkansas, entered into an alliance which provides for the establishment of cooperative relationships for purposes such as training and education, outreach and communication, and promoting a national dialogue on workplace health and safety.

    In addition to these formal meetings, the Alliance coordinators from both groups maintained regular contact throughout the reporting period to monitor the Alliance's progress and results.
