    Alliance Overview:

    Alliance to provide the Northeast Pennsylvania Manufacturers and Employers Association members and others with training, information, guidance, and access to OSHA resources that will help them protect employees’ health and safety, particularly in reducing employee injury and illness.

    Raising awareness of OSHA's Rulemaking and Enforcement Initiatives,

    • No activities in this area in 2016.

    Training

    • April 14, 2016 – Yes Program – CAS spoke to 2 classes of Pine Grove High School juniors and seniors on OSHA rights and services as part of MAEA's student employability program. Approximately 60 students and staff attended.
    • September 15, 2016 – CAS conducted a presentation at Association’s monthly Safety Committee Roundtable. Topic included Commonly Encountered Hazards in the Workplace and OSHA Electronic Reporting Rules. Approximately 25 attended.
