Alliance Overview:
Alliance to provide the Northeast Pennsylvania Manufacturers and Employers Association members and others with training, information, guidance, and access to OSHA resources that will help them protect employees' health and safety, particularly in reducing employee injury and illness.

Outreach and Communication
- May 22, 2012 – CAS conducted presentation at Association's monthly Safety Committee Roundtable. Topic was VPP. The 4 principle elements of Voluntary Protection Program (VPP) were discussed as well as the requirements for entry into VPP.
- November 15, 2012 – As part of our alliance presented "OSHA Rights" talk to 60 high school students at Pine Grove High School as part of NEPA MAEA's Your Employability Skills (YES) program which prepares students for entry into the workforce.

- Upcoming Milestones
The CAS will be participating in a 1 day workshop on ergonomics in May. The CAS will be participating in an "Introduction to OSHA for Small Business" roundtable discussion scheduled for later this year, as well as an ergonomics best practices roundtable.
