Fatality Inspection Data
Data on work-related fatalities that occurred under Federal OSHA and State Plan jurisdiction for cases that have been closed or citations issued on or after January 1, 2017. Employers must report worker fatalities to OSHA within eight hours.
Fatality Reports (Archived)
Summaries of work-related fatalities and incidents resulting in the hospitalization of three or more workers, reported to Federal and State OSHA from FY 2009 – FY 2017.

Current collection of work-related injury and illness summary data from employers within specific industry and employment size classifications.
OSHA Data Initiative (1996 - 2011 only)
Collection of work-related injury and illness data from employers within specific industry and employment size specifications from 1996 through 2011. These data were not collected after 2011.
Severe Injury Reports
Reports on severe work-related injuries, defined as an amputation, in-patient hospitalization, or loss of an eye, including a description of the incident and the name and address of the establishment where it happened. OSHA has required employers to report this information since January 1, 2015.

The National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) Data and Statistics
Access a variety of data from NIOSH, which is part of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
