Senior Policy Advisor
Emily Hargrove most recently served as the Associate Administrator for Enforcement at the Department of Labor’s Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA). During her seven-year tenure at the Arlington, Virginia-based agency, she held positions related to metal and nonmetal safety including acting deputy administrator and special assistant. Prior to joining MSHA, she was an attorney in the Department of Labor Solicitor’s Office from 2012-2013.
Before serving in the government, Ms. Hargrove was an associate at three Washington, DC law firms where her focus was labor and employment law. Ms. Hargrove earned a J.D. from the George Washington University School of Law and a bachelor’s degree in political science and philosophy from Hiram College in Ohio.
