Description: Faith Technologies will be hosting a Fall Protection Stand-Down event in Conjunction with the National OSHA Fall Protection Stand-Down Campaign. Thus far, American Riggers and DBI Sala have agreed to bring some innovative equipment samples for display. DBI will also be performing a drop-test during the event. Faith will also open our wireless training lab for tours and a high-level rescue demonstration. Any vendors who would like to participate in this event can contact Mark Carlson or Chuck Rutledge for more information. Hamburgers and Hot Dogs will be available for those who RSVP by Monday, May 11, 2015. This event is free and open to the Public.

Description: The Wichita Area Builders Association (a host site for the Metropolitan Community College Education Center) will host an afternoon fall prevention seminar at their venue located at 730 N. Main St. Wichita Kansas. OSHA official(s) will be on hand to answer questions and distribute fall prevention campaign materials.

St. Louis

Location: BJC Jobsite at 216 S Kingshighway Blvd., St Louis, MO 63110. This is the BJC Healthcare & Washington University School of Medicine-Kingshighway Campus Renewal Project partnership location. The partners for the site include Alberci, Clayco, and S.M. Wilson.

Description: Fall protection demo and discussion of techniques. OSHA St. Louis Area Office staff will be participating.

Description: Saint Louis University's Center for Environmental Education & Training / Midwest OSHA Education Center and Wise Safety & Environmental will host a no cost fall hazard awareness training program. Dave Cook of Wise Safety will provide an overview of the fall hazards common to construction and general industry, followed by an interactive demonstration of fall protection equipment. Please self-register online at:, Click on "Register for 2015 classes". Select "My Account" & click to set up a new student/user account, submit form. Search for course "CEET 515". Registered participants who attend the entire program will be issued a certificate of participation and earn 0.3 CEUs. This event is free and open to the Public through the registration process described above.
