Description: The Construction Safety Council will host a 4 hour program including guest speakers, safety product presentations and give-a-ways. This event is free to the public. However, we are collecting non-perishable food items from our Stand-Down guests to be donated to the Great Chicago Food Depository.

South Beloit

Location: Mid-States Concrete Industries, 500 S. Park Ave. South Beloit, IL 61080

Description: Mid-States will be discussing the 4' and 6' height rules, scaffold and ladder safety within our plant for general industry, the use of PFAS and guardrail systems.

Location: Latino Entrepreneurial Network (parking lot), 612 West National Avenue, Milwaukee, WI 53204

Description: The Latino Entrepreneurial Network (LEN), Capital Safety, and the Milwaukee Area OSHA Office will host a fall stand-down event at the LEN office. This bi-lingual event is geared to emphasize the importance of preventing falls in construction. Capital Safety will be on site to demonstrate a variety of fall protection devices.

Description: Gilbane Building Company, the general contractor for the Northwestern Mutual Tower and Commons will host a stand-down event at this location for all contractors and the Area Director - Milwaukee Area Office, will be in attendance.

Location: 833 East Michigan Avenue

Description: CG Schmidt, General Contractor for the 833 Building will host a fall stand-down for all workers at the site. A brief talk will be provided by the Milwaukee OSHA office representative followed by a demonstration of equipment by Mike Murphy from Honeywell/Miller Fall Protection.
