Scaffolding Slide Presentation Slide 32

Slide 32

Title: Slide 32

Type: Image Slide

This is a rolling tower scaffold coupled to another rolling tower by way of a pick. The scaffold pick is not tied or secured to either scaffold.

Speaker Notes:

One set of casters is up on the curb and the other set is down on the blacktop. Can the wheels sink into the ground? Can they sink into the asphalt on a hot August day? The builders also mixed different types of frames, which is a hazard when you are climbing down the scaffold, not realizing the ladder rungs have changed shape and position.

[Includes an image of an improperly secured rolling scaffold with mixed frame types]
