1848. GENERAL WORKING CONDITIONS FOR SHIPYARD EMPLOYMENT

Publication of a proposal addressing general working conditions in shipyards is part of this project. The operations addressed in this rulemaking relate to general working conditions such as housekeeping, illumination, sanitation, first aid, and lockout/tagout. About 100,000 workers are potentially exposed to these hazards annually. Timetable:
