It will revise text in the CFR to reduce burden or duplication, or streamline requirements. Legal Authority: 29 USC 655 (b) CFR Citation: 29 CFR 1910, subparts D and I Legal Deadline: None Abstract: In 1990, OSHA proposed (55 FR 13360) a rule addressing slip, trip, and fall hazards and establishing requirements for personal fall protection systems. OSHA has analyzed the record and determined that it is appropriate to move forward with a final rule addressing personal fall protection requirements (subpart I of 29 CFR 1910). The Agency intends to issue a final rule in 2001.
