1945. PLAIN LANGUAGE REVISION OF THE FLAMMABLE AND COMBUSTIBLE LIQUIDS STANDARD Priority: Substantive, Nonsignificant Reinventing Government: This rulemaking is part of the Reinventing Government effort. It will revise text in the CFR to reduce burden or duplication, or streamline requirements. Legal Authority: 29 USC 655(b); 5 USC 553 CFR Citation: 29 CFR 1910.106 Legal Deadline: None Abstract: This project responds to the President's Executive Memo of June 1998 regarding the use of plain language in Federal regulations. With this project, OSHA is initiating rulemaking that will revise the regulations contained in 29 CFR 1910.106 addressing flammable and combustible liquids storage. The purpose of this rulemaking will be to restate this standard in plain language.
