V. Clearance of Information Collection Requirements
On March 31, 1983, the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) published a new
5 CFR part 1320, implementing the information collection provisions of the
Paperwork Reduction Act of 1980, 44 U.S.C. 3501 et seq. (48 FR 13666). Part
1320, which became effective on April 30, 1983, sets forth procedures for
agencies to follow in obtaining OMB clearance for information collection
requirements.
In accordance with the provisions of the Paperwork Act and the regulations
issued pursuant thereto, OSHA certifies that it submitted the information
collection requirements contained in the HCS to OMB for review under section
3504(h) of that Act. In June 1991, OMB extended its approval of the
information collection requirements through April 1994. There are no changes
in this modified final rule which affect those requirements or change the
burden of the requirements. The OMB Control No. is 1218-0072.
