The committee will also be briefed on current OSHA and National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) activities.
NACOSH was established by authority of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970 to advise the secretaries of labor and health and human services on occupational safety and health programs. The two-day meeting will be held in Room N-3437 A-D at the Department of Labor, Frances Perkins Building, 200 Constitution Ave., NW. On April 12 the meeting begins at 9 a.m. and is scheduled to last until 4:30 p.m. The meeting will resume at 9 a.m. on April 13 and conclude at approximately 4 p.m. However, if work is completed earlier on the draft report the committee will be working on, the meeting may end sooner.
Written data, views or comments may be submitted to Joanne Goodell, OSHA, Room N-3641, 200 Constitution Ave. NW, Washington, D.C. 20210. Twenty copies are requested. Submissions received prior to the meeting will be included in the record.
