OSHA TO AWARD CHALFONT, PA COMPANY WITH HIGHEST HONOR

The U.S. Department of Labor's, Occupational Safety and Health Administration will officially welcome Webcraft Direct Marketing, Inc. into its prestigious STAR Voluntary Protection Program at a special flag and certificate ceremony being held on Thurs., Sept. 28, 2000. The ceremony will take place at 2:00 p.m. at the company's facility, 4371 County Line Road, Chalfont, Pa. Richard Soltan, regional administrator for OSHA, will make the presentation.

Webcraft Direct, a producer of specially-printed products, including personalized direct mail, magazine inserts, games and other promotional products, employs 550 workers. The company is noted for having a three-year injury incident rate (1997-1999) that is 33 percent below their industry average.

The STAR program, designed for worksites with comprehensive, successful safety and health programs, is open to any industry, and to companies with injury rates at or below the industry's national average.
