Release Number: 13-279-KAN US Department of Labor's OSHA, Consulate of Mexico will sign alliance KANSAS CITY, Mo. – To protect the safety and health of Missouri and Kansas workers, Charles E. Adkins, regional administrator of the U.S. Department of Labor's Occupational Safety and Health Administration in Kansas City, and Alicia G. Kerber-Palma, head consul of Mexico in Kansas City, will participate in a signing ceremony Friday, March 1, 2013, to formalize an alliance. The alliance establishes a collaborative relationship to provide information, guidance and access to education and training resources for Mexican nationals working in Missouri and Kansas. Workers' rights courses regarding safety and health will be jointly developed by the Mexican Consulate and OSHA's area offices in Kansas City, St. Louis and Wichita, Kan.
