Area Employers WASHINGTON -- Area business owners with questions about OSHA recordkeeping can get the answers they need at a seminar on Tues., Sept. 17, 8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. The program will be held at SunTrust Bank, 1445 New York Avenue, NW, Washington, D.C. Attendees will learn how to comply with new safety and health recordkeeping requirements and the recordkeeping exemptions available to certain employers. The seminar will also provide information about compliance assistance programs for small businesses. The U.S. Department of Labor's Occupational Safety and Health Administration and Office of Small Business Programs will sponsor the seminar, together with the Association of Small Business Development Centers (ASBDC) in conjunction with the Washington, D.C. Small Business Development Center Network at Howard University. The cost of the seminar is $25.00.
