Agency Also Releases Other New Publications Including Updated "All About OSHA" WASHINGTON, DC -- The critical role played by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration and its partners in ensuring the safety and health of workers at the World Trade Center site and the lessons learned in the process are chronicled a new publication, Inside the Green Line. "The World Trade Center was a worksite like no one had ever seen or imagined," said John L. Henshaw, Assistant Secretary of Labor for Occupational Safety and Health. "Workers poured their hearts and souls into their work, first looking for survivors and afterwards cleaning up that hallowed ground. Likewise, OSHA and its partners - the City of New York, labor unions, contractors, government officials - dedicated themselves to making sure that not one of those workers was injured or lost during that effort. I am proud to say we all succeeded." OSHA today also released several other publications that provide new or updated information to employers and workers about workplace safety and health. A revised All About OSHA (OSHA 2056) is now available, with updated material to reflect changes in forms, standards and regulations. Other new publications include OSHA Strategic Management Plan (OSHA 3186), Methyline Chloride (OSHA 3144), Safeguarding Equipment and Protecting Workers from Amputations (OSHA 3170-107R), and a new card about hazards associated with working in the sun (OSHA 3166). Inside the Green Line is OSHA Publication Number 3189. All of these publications can be obtained on OSHA's website, www.osha.gov. They may also be ordered by calling (800) 321-OSHA.
