Mr. William H. Lewis Dear Mr. Lewis: This is in response to your letter of March 5, requesting a clarification of the Occupational Safety and Heath Administration (OSHA) requirement for the width of planks used on pump jack scaffolds. This requirement was published in the Federal Register (61 FR 46107) on August 30, 1996, and has not been changed subsequently. If you have any further questions, please contact:

Roy F. Gurham, Manager |
