Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that: a) Employees working in the #2 control room area, 2nd level platform between regenerator 402 A and B were exposed to a fall hazard of 20 feet due to grating being rusted completely through. One feasible and useful method of abatement is to replace grating and supports.
