Dear Graduate Nurse Student:
The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) announces the opening
of the solicitation period for the 2008
OSHA Graduate Nurse Internship.
If you are a registered nurse interested in working at OSHA’s National Office in
Washington, DC on current occupational safety and health issues, please consider
this unique opportunity. Historically, a stipend has been provided to candidates
selected for this program at the hourly rate for a GS 11, step1 staff position.
This experience is open to all registered professional nurses pursuing a
graduate degree in occupational health or related fields. Each intern is
given a project specifically designed to fully use their knowledge, skills and
abilities. These projects blend current OSHA issues and initiatives with
the theoretical bases of your academic study into a practical occupational
safety and health experience at the national level.
