    PROBLEM: Employees in the Finishing Department were sending 500-1000 castings with many hand movements. The employee must support the weight of the casting (2-10#) while rotating the casting.

    SOLUTION: One robotic sander installed.

    COST: $176,000

    COST RECOVERY TIME: 6-12 months

    BENEFITS: Eliminated strain from repetition and force, increased productivity.
