- Overview
OSHA and HASC hereby form an Alliance to provide HASC members and others with information, guidance, and access to training resources that will help them protect employees' health and safety, particularly in reducing and preventing exposure to Hispanic Workers in the construction and general industry.

- Implementation Team Meetings
- The Houston South Area Office's (HSAO) Compliance Assistance Specialists (CAS) attended the monthly Occupational Safety Committee meetings and additional alliance meetings as needed. The HASC supports all of the HBR outreach activities as well.

- The HSAO & the HASC collaboratively worked together on the following outreach products:

- Website: http://www.hacsc.com/site/osha/index.html - Volume I: 1000 DVD's were made with all of the Hispanic outreach information from the website link as well as send to all 10 Hispanic ESL Coordinators, all 13 Region VI CAS's, OTI in Chicago and California, local Alliance / Partnership members, to representatives of the following countries: Mexico, Argentina, Brazil, Costa Rica, UCLA, NCLR, Texas Building Trades Council, UFCW in Washington, Teamsters in Las Vegas, Mexican & Honduran Consulate in Houston, Texas. Volume II: 60 DVD's were made to be given at the first Safety & Health Conference in Mexico City, México.
- Training and Education
- The Safety Excellence Awards Winners Best Practices Seminar held at HASC with approximately 100 people in attendance.
- Hosted meeting for the Crane presentation as well as created a Work group site under Wiggio for all information.
- Outreach and Communication
- Mr. Aguilar and members of the sub-committees are members of National organizations and have attended Regional and National conferences.
- Facilitated the 23rd Annual HBR Contractor Safety Excellence Award where 60 contractors were present.
- Promoting the National Dialogue on Workplace Safety and Health
- Promoted Hispanic safety to over four countries as well all over the US with the creation of the Hispanic outreach DVD.

The Houston South OSHA Area Office recommends renewing the Alliance with the Houston Area Safety Council.
Future Projects:
- Working on consolidating all of the presentations, videos, pdfs to folders, i.e. Users can press presentations and all the presentations are in one area and in the same format.
- Creation of the Government/Industry Affairs Committee, which OSHA will support and be a part of.
