|
The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and Wisconsin Ready Mix Concrete Association (WRMCA) recognize the value of establishing a collaborative relationship to foster safer and more healthful American workplaces. OSHA and WRMCA hereby form an Alliance to provide WRMCA members and others with information, guidance, and access to training resources that will help protect employees health and safety, particularly in reducing and preventing exposure to slips, trips, falls and ergonomic hazards. In developing this Alliance, OSHA and WRMCA agree that the Safety and Health Consultation Programs are an integral part of this effort. OSHA, Consultation Projects and WRMCA will work together to achieve the following training and initial education goals designed to meet the needs of the Wisconsin Ready Mix employers:
An implementation team, made up of representatives of OSHA; Wisconsin Consultation; and WRMCA, will meet to develop a plan of action, determine working procedures, and identify the roles and responsibilities of the participants. In addition, they will meet on a bi-annual basis or as mutually agreed upon to track and share information on activities and results in achieving the goals of the Alliance. This agreement will remain in effect for three years. The agreement will be reviewed annually in writing and at the end of the three year term by the implementation team. The agreement may be renewed at the end of three years with the concurrence of the implementation team. Any of the signatories may terminate this agreement for any reason at any time, provided they give 30 days written notice. This agreement may be modified at any time with the concurrence of all signatory parties. Agreed this day, January 21, 2005
