Alliance Overview.
The purpose of the alliance is to improve the awareness of the benefits of
occupational health nursing in workplaces and to promote wellness in the
workplace.

Implementation Team Meetings
Meetings were held on these dates: April 4, 2008, July 22, 2008, November 14,
2008 and January 30, 2009.

Activities and Products
Evaluation Period.
This report covers the period of January 30, 2008 to June 2, 2009.
Alliance Activity.
SCWAOHN and OSHA co-manned informational booths at three events, Stateline
Safety Day in Janesville, WI (September 17, 2008), Wisconsin Wellness and HR
Best Practices Conference in the Wisconsin Dells, (August 20, 2008) and the
Wisconsin Wellness Council Conference in Madison (September 30, 2008).
SCWAOHN manned an informational booth about occupational health nursing at the
2009 VPPPA conference in Madison.
One of the nurses submitted an article on the benefits of workplace wellness
programs to the Wisconsin Highlights fall 2008 edition.
- Results
The alliance was resigned during the evaluation period and both OSHA and SCWAOHN
decided to have a topic to pursue, wellness in the workplace. The alliance is
continuing to refine how they approaching their alliance activities.
