This alliance was signed on December 4, 2004 and resigned on March 7, 2008.
Alliance Overview.
The purpose of the alliance is to improve the awareness of the benefits of
occupational health nursing in workplaces and to promote wellness in the
workplace.

Meetings were held on these dates: April 4, 2008, July 22, 2008, November 14,
2008 and January 30, 2009,
- Activities and Products
Evaluation Period.
This report covers the period of June 2, 2009 to April 29, 2010.
Alliance Activity.
Pat Olson, an occupational health nurse presented to the Madison OSHA office on
the work that occupational health nurses do and what they offer the safety and
health community on June 12, 2009.
The SCWAOHN and OSHA decided to dissolve the alliance due to the lack of
activity and projects they were unable to generate. This decision was made on
September 18, 2009.
The Madison CAS gave a presentation at the Wisconsin State Association of
Occupational Health Nurses on October 14, 2009 about OSHA’s plans for the
future. This presentation had been planned well before the decision to dissolve
the alliance.
- Results
The alliance was resigned during the evaluation period and both OSHA and SCWAOHN
decided to have a topic to pursue, wellness in the workplace. The alliance is
continuing to refine how they approaching their alliance activities.
