Project: Wiregrass Alliance with Small Business Development Centers

Milestone Met in FY 2003

• First Alliance Training given to Lending Institutions in Wiregrass Area. Fifteen (15) lending institutions were provided information to be given to their customers.
  
  
• Presentation given to SBDC State Convention of Wiregrass Alliance. Twenty-Five (25) SBDC coordinators were given overview of Wiregrass Alliance and outreach efforts to reach small employers.
  
  
• Second scheduled Alliance “Recordkeeping Training” through Alliance was given. Thirteen (13) employer representatives attended the training.

Upcoming Milestones:

• Develop a Public Service Announcement (PSA) to be aired throughout the Wiregrass Area.
  
  
• Incorporate Wiregrass Alliance information into the “Small Business Tool Kit” developed by the SBDC and local Chamber of Commerce.
