    Overview

    Promote safe and healthful working conditions for shipyard employees by fostering a culture lof prevention while sharing best practices and technical knowledge.

    The association has the following members in Region X:

  2. Implementation Team Meetings

    5/9/2008 discussed Alliance with Lindsey Docherty, Vigor shipyards and he agreed it is working well.

    Conversation with Matt Svaglic, Gunderson, the alliance was discussed and he and I agreed that the alliance is working well. Agreed to set up a meeting with Randy White, Portland AD and Lindsey and Matt from Vigor and Gunderson will have a meeting this fall to discuss the alliance and schedule outreach activities.

    SCA Seattle membership also participated in the preplanning meetings to develop the training for electrical, shipboard ventilation, hexavalent chromium and fall protection.

      10/2/08 Safety Seminar on Electrical, shipboard ventilation, Hexavalent Chromium. Seminar was attended by approximately 30 shipyard employees.
