    This slide shows maritime safety alerts developed through OSHA's Alliances with the American Society of Safety Engineers, American Industrial Hygiene Association, American Shipbuilding Association, National Shipbuilding Research Program, and Shipbuilders Council of America. They are available in English and Spanish.

    Other examples of products developed through the Alliance Program:
    • The National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) developed a Trenching Safety Card (in English and Spanish).
    • Participants in the Crane, Hoist, and Monorail Alliance developed a series of cards on overhead crane safety.
    • The American Supply Association developed a series of toolbox talks, including: Effective Workplace Housekeeping, Guidelines for Dealing with Summer Heat, Hazard Communication, and Safe Cell Phone Use.
    • The American Pipeline Contractors Association (APCA) developed ten best practices fact sheets (in English and Spanish), including "Excavation and Trenching Best Practices for Operators" and "Pressure Testing Best Practices for Personnel Conducting the Test."
    • The American Fire Sprinkler Association (AFSA) developed a series of toolbox talks on human factors, fall protection, driving safety, and PPE.
    • The Construction Roundtable's Fall Protection Workgroup developed a series of toolbox talks focusing on ladder safety.
    • The Society for Chemical Hazard Communication developed a series of fact sheets on the Globally Harmonized System (GHS) of Classification and Labeling of Chemicals.
    • The National Association of Surface Finishers developed a Surface Finishing Safe Work Practices Manual.
    • The Laser Institute of America developed facts sheets on laser safety.
