(2008-2010)
- October 28-30, 2010: Green Industry Conference, Kentucky Exposition Center, Louisville, Kentucky. Kentucky Occupational Safety and Health representatives staffed an exhibit booth during the conference and participated in a series of morning meetings titled "Breakfast With Champions". Also, Chuck Stribling, Kentucky-OSHA, participated in a panel discussion covering the topic "Landscape Management: Safety & Training Case Studies."
- May 2-8, 2010, the Professional Landcare Network and a number of other
Alliance Program participants supported the 2010 North American Occupational Safety and Health (NAOSH) Week.
Sponsored annually by the American Association of Safety Engineers (ASSE), an
Alliance Program participant, and the Canadian Society of Safety Engineering (CSSE),
the Week focuses on the importance of preventing injuries and illnesses in the
workplace. The theme for 2010 was "Mission NAOSH 2010: Safe Workplaces."
- April 8-11, 2010: PLANET 34th Annual Student Career Days, Atlanta,
Georgia.
- April 9, 2010: A representative from the OSHA Atlanta-West Area office
staffed an Alliance Program exhibit booth.
- April 10, 2010: Representatives from the OSHA Atlanta-East Area office
observed during the Competitive Events.
- October 28-31, 2009: Green Industry Conference, Louisville Marriott
Downtown, Louisville, Kentucky. Kentucky Occupational Safety and Health
representatives staffed an exhibit booth during the conference. Also, Chuck
Stribling, Kentucky-OSHA, participated in a panel discussion covering the topic
"The Bottom Line Impact of Safety's Best Practices."
- June 10, 2009: Department of Labor Safety Day, Francis Perkins Building,
Washington, DC.
PLANET representatives staffed an exhibit booth and distributed safety and
health information during the Department of Labor Safety Day.
- May 3-9, 2009:
2009 North American Occupational Safety and Health Week. The Professional
Landcare Network and more than 55 other Alliance Program participants supported
2009 NAOSH Week. Sponsored annually by the American Society of Safety
Engineers, an Alliance Program participant, and the Canadian Society of Safety
Engineering, the Week focuses on the importance of preventing injuries and
illnesses in the workplace. The theme for 2009 NAOSH Week was "Safety Means
Always Coming Home."
- March 26-29, 2009: PLANET 33rd Annual Student Career Days.
- March 27, 2009: Representatives from OSHA Region IX and California OSHA staffed an Alliance Program exhibit booth.
- October 22-25, 2008: PLANET Green Industry Conference, Louisville, Kentucky.

October 20-26, 2008:
2008 Drug-Free Work Week. PLANET and a number of other Alliance Program
participants supported the 2008 Drug-Free Work Week. Sponsored annually by the
U.S. Department of Labor's
Working Partners for an Alcohol and Drug-Free Workplace Program, the Week
focused on educating employers, employees and the public about the importance
of being drug-free as an essential component of a safe and healthful workplace.
