    Speaker Notes:

    Basic material handling techniques were utilized to assist employees in transferring baggage, including various carts and powered tow vehicles.
    There were belt loaders to carry the bags into the aircraft cargo bins.
    Later, elaborate systems of conveyors were installed to sort, separate and carry them even further.
