Ms. Jillings and airline representatives from the OSHA and Airline Industry and the National Safety Council (NSC) International Air Transport Section Alliance provided the workshop attendees with a history of ergonomics in aviation and the baggage handling process and an overview of how the airlines and airport authorities work together. The workshop presenters also updated the attendees on the Alliance’s activities and discussed its ongoing work, including updating OSHA’s Baggage Handling eTool and continuing the development of an ergonomics training manual for airline employees.
