- May 2-8, 2010: 2010 North American Occupational Safety and Health (NAOSH) Week.
The Concrete Sawing and Drilling Association and a number of other Alliance Program participants supported 2010 NAOSH Week, "Mission NAOSH 2010: Safe Workplaces." Sponsored annually by the American Society of Safety Engineers, an Alliance Program participant, and the Canadian Society of Safety Engineering, the Week focuses on the importance of preventing injuries and illnesses in the workplace.
- February 2-5 2010: World of Concrete Conference and Trade Show 2010, Las
Vegas, Nevada.
- Representatives from OSHA and Nevada On-site Consultation staffed an
exhibit booth during the conference.
- May 3-9, 2009: 2009 North American Occupational Safety and Health (NAOSH) Week. The
Concrete Sawing and Drilling Association and more than 55 other Alliance
Program participants supported 2009 NAOSH Week. Sponsored annually by the
American Society of Safety Engineers, an Alliance Program participant, and the
Canadian Society of Safety Engineering, the Week focuses on the importance of
preventing injuries and illnesses in the workplace. The theme for 2009 NAOSH
Week was "Safety Means Always Coming Home.
- February 2-6, 2009: World of Concrete Conference and Trade Show 2009, Las
Vegas, Nevada.
- February 2, 2009: Danezza Quintero, Senior Occupational Safety and Health
Specialist, Office of Construction Services, Directorate of Construction, USDOL-OSHA,
gave a workshop entitled, "Concrete Safety, Standards, Citations and Best
Practices" to concrete industry executives and safety and health professionals.
- February 3-6, 2009: Rob Swick, Program Analyst, Office of Outreach Services
and Alliances, Directorate of Cooperative and State Programs, USDOL-OSHA, and
staff from Nevada On-site Consultation staffed an exhibit booth during the
conference.
- September 4-7 2008: 1st Annual International Concrete Polishing and
Staining Conference, Atlanta, Georgia.
- September 5, 2008: Dave Zwolak, then-Director, Office of Construction
Services, Directorate of Construction, USDOL-OSHA, gave a presentation entitled
"OSHA Construction Update."

- April 7-11, 2008: National Work Zone Awareness Week. The Week is held annually to bring
national attention to motorist and worker safety and mobility issues in work zones. The event is
sponsored by the Federal Highway Administration.
- March 4-8, 2008: 2008 CSDA Annual Convention, Red Rock Resort, Las Vegas, Nevada.
- March 7, 2008: Bill Parsons, then-Construction Safety Education Specialist, Directorate of
Construction, USDOL-OSHA, presented "OSHA Construction: Current Issues and Update."
- January 21-25, 2008: World of Concrete Conference and Trade Show 2008, Las Vegas, Nevada.
- OSHA Region IX, Nevada OSHA, and Nevada On-site Consultation staffed an exhibit booth during
the conference.
- January 22-26, 2007: World of Concrete 2007, Las Vegas, Nevada.
- OSHA Region IX, Nevada OSHA, and Nevada Consultation staffed an exhibit booth during the
conference.
- January 24, 2007: Stew Burkhammer, then-Director, Office of Construction Services, Directorate of
Construction, USDOL-OSHA, gave a presentation titled, "Outreach Programs for Construction" to 75
attendees.
