- May 2-8, 2010: 2010 North American Occupational Safety and Health (NAOSH) Week.
The Coordinating Committee for Automotive Repair and a number of other Alliance
Program participants supported 2010 NAOSH Week, "Mission NAOSH 2010: Safe
Workplaces." Sponsored annually by the American Society of Safety Engineers and
the Canadian Society of Safety Engineering, the Week focuses on the importance
of preventing injuries and illnesses in the workplace.
- April 24-26, 2010: American Truck Dealers National Convention,
Orlando, Florida.
- Robert Stewart, Executive Vice Prescient, CCAR, staffed an exhibit booth
and distributed copies of the Agency's Alliance Program and compliance
assistance resources, including a booklet focusing on single- and multi-piece
rim wheels, to conference attendees.
- April 6-7, 2010: National Automotive Technology Competition, New York City,
New York.
- Robert Stewart, Executive Vice Prescient, CCAR, staffed an exhibit booth
and distributed copies of the Agency's Alliance Program and compliance
assistance resources, including a booklet focusing on single- and multi-piece
rim wheels, to conference attendees.
- February 13-15, 2010: National Automobile Dealers Association Conference
and Exposition, Orlando, Florida
- Robert Stewart, Executive Vice Prescient, CCAR, staffed an exhibit booth
and distributed copies of the Agency's Alliance Program and compliance
assistance resources, including a booklet focusing on single- and multi-piece
rim wheels, to conference attendees.
- October 19-25, 2009: 2009 Drug-Free Work Week. CCAR and a number of other Alliance Program
participants supported the 2009 Drug-Free Work Week. Sponsored annually by the
U.S. Department of Labor's Working Partners for
an Alcohol and Drug-Free Workplace Program, the Week focused on educating
employers, employees and the public about the importance of being drug-free as
an essential component of a safe and healthful workplace.
- June 1-3, 2009: American Automobile Association Conference, Rancho Mirage,
California
- Robert Stewart, Executive Vice Prescient, CCAR, staffed an exhibit booth
and distributed copies of the Agency's Alliance Program and compliance
assistance resources, including the OSHA and CCAR Alliance Activities Summary
and a booklet focusing on single- and multi-piece rim wheels.
- May 3-9, 2009:

Program participants supported 2009 NAOSH Week. Sponsored annually by the
American Society of Safety Engineers, an Alliance Program participant, and the
Canadian Society of Safety Engineering, the Week focuses on the importance of
preventing injuries and illnesses in the workplace. The theme for 2009 NAOSH
Week was "Safety Means Always Coming Home."

Safety Engineers (ASSE) and the Canadian Society of Safety Engineering, the
Week focuses on the importance of preventing injuries and illnesses in the
workplace.
- May 5, 2008: A representative of CCAR attended the NAOSH Week Kick-off
event at the U.S. Department of Labor. Deputy Assistant Secretary Donald
Shalhoub, USDOL-OSHA; and Michael Thompson, then-President, ASSE; were the
keynote speakers. Mr. Shalhoub presented
"Safety
is Good Business" to OSHA and Alliance Program participants and other safety and health
representatives.
- October 2, 2008: American Trucking Association's Technology and Maintenance
Council's (TMC) TMCSuperTech2008 Truck Competition, Nashville, Tennessee.
- Natalie Schoonover, Manager, Environmental Safety, CCAR, staffed the
"Safety and Environmental" work station at the TMCSuperTech2008 truck
competition and distributed more than 50 copies of the OSHA publication
focusing on personal protective equipment and the booklet focusing on single-
and multi-piece rim wheels.
- May 6-12, 2007: 2007 North American Occupational Safety and Health (NAOSH)
Week. The Coordinating Committee for Automotive Repair and a number of other
Alliance Program participants supported 2007 NAOSH Week; "All Modes of
Transportation." Sponsored annually by the American Society of Safety Engineers
and the Canadian Society of Safety Engineering, the Week focuses on the
importance of preventing injuries and illnesses in the workplace.
- October 12, 2004: 3rd Annual Collision Industry Trade Show, Midwest
Conference Center, Northlake, Illinois.
- OSHA shared an exhibit booth with CCAR in the Midwest Conference Center.
- October 12, 2004: Jess McCluer, then-Program Analyst, Office of Outreach
Services and Alliances, Directorate of Cooperative and State Programs, USDOL-OSHA,
and Sean Ochester, Safety & Pollution Prevention Officer, CCAR, updated
attendees on "OSHA’s Alliance Program," in particular the OSHA/CCAR Alliance.
