Fall - Alliance Orientation.

December 11, 2003. Representatives from 7 Alliances participated in the Alliance Program Quarterly Orientation session. Below is the PowerPoint presentation given during the session.
  • Cooperative Programs: Expanding OSHA's Impact [PPT* - 2 MB]. December 11, 2003. Paula White, Director, Directorate of Cooperative and State Programs, described OSHA's cooperative programs for new Program participants. Ms. White also discussed OSHA's 2003 - 2008 Strategic Management Plan, which sets goals and strategies to build on the Agency's successes and enhance the work for the future. OSHA's cooperative programs, including the Alliance Program, are integral to the Agency's ability to meet the goals of the plan. In addition, she reviewed the Alliance Web site and encouraged the participants to visit the site for valuable information on the program.

    OSHA's Deputy Assistant Secretary, Gary Visscher, US-DOL, joined the group and expressed his support for the Alliance Program. Mr. Visscher also asked the attendees to share their experiences and the successes that have resulted from working to meet the goals of their Alliance agreements.
