(2005 – 2007)
- August 16, 2007: American Dental Association Conference on Dentist Health and Wellness,
Chicago, Illinois. Dana L. Root, Ergonomist, Region V, Chicago, Illinois Regional Office,
USDOL-OSHA, gave a presentation, "Ergonomics for the Front Office Staff," to approximately
200 attendees.
- May 6-12, 2007: 2007 North American Occupational Safety and Health (NAOSH)
Week. American Dental Association and a number of other Alliance Program
participants supported 2007 NAOSH Week; "All Modes of Transportation."
Sponsored annually by the American Society of Safety Engineers, an Alliance
Program participant, and the Canadian Society of Safety Engineering, the Week
focuses on the importance of preventing injuries and illnesses in the
workplace.
- May 4, 2006: American Dental Association Council on Dental Practice,
Chicago, Illinois. Elizabeth Sherfy, then-Team Leader, Office of Outreach
Services and Alliances, Directorate of Cooperative and State Programs, USDOL-OSHA,
gave a presentation on the OSHA and ADA Alliance to approximately 25 people.
- October 6-9, 2005: 146th ADA Annual Session, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. On
October 6, 2005, Lee Anne Jillings, then-Director, Office of Outreach Services
and Alliances, Directorate of Cooperative and State Programs, USDOL-OSHA,
participated in an ergonomics seminar with representatives from the association
and discussed the OSHA and ADA Alliance.
