Quartz PAT - Trends in Precision

The performance (using precision data) of the three top techniques indicates that the coefficient of variation has only recently dropped. The slide shows the worst case scenario as results are only for those samples with the lowest loading (weights). Results for all sample loadings display better (lower) coefficients of variation. The first rounds indicate great disagreement among the participating labs, coefficients of variation ranged from 0.5 to 0.8. Remember that only the colorimetric procedure was used up to Round 30; however, the trend towards increased precision over time was not primarily due to decreased use but rather improved analytical technique. Again, this graph only displays results for samples which were the most difficult to analyze because of low sample loadings.
