Purpose
- Updates the existing standard to include types of scaffolds
such as catenary and step and trestle.
- Allows flexibility in the use of fall protection systems to
protect employees.
- Simplifies language, eliminates duplicative, outdated
provisions, consolidates overlapping requirements.
- Allows employers compliance flexibility.
