Other Resources
-
SPI-OSHA Alliance. Society of the Plastics Industry,
Inc. (SPI). SPI represents one of the largest manufacturing industries in the United States. SPI members
represent the entire plastics industry supply chain, including processors,
machinery and equipment manufacturers, and raw materials suppliers. SPI and OSHA
have entered into an alliance to promote a safe and healthy work environment in
plastics facilities.
-
Safety. Center for the Polyurethanes Industry (CPI). Serves as a research arm
and data clearinghouse for API member companies. API technical experts, working in conjunction with the American
Plastic Council's Plastics Industry Producers' Statistics Group (PIPS),
produce a variety of data and reports for the polyurethane industry.
- Plastics Division. American Chemistry Council (ACC). The ACC is a trade association for the United
States plastics industry working to ensure that plastics are recognized as a
preferred material by actively demonstrating they are a responsible choice in
a more environmentally conscious world. ACC provides information about the
history of plastic, how to make plastic materials, and the many uses of plastic.
