    Eye and face protection must be worn where there is potential for injury to the eyes or face. The protective equipment must comply with ANSI standards (Subpart I, ANSI Z87.101989 if purchased after July 5, 1994, or ANSI Z87.1-1968 if purchased before July 5, 1994).

    Logger-type mesh screens are considered to be adequate eye and face protection for chain saw operators.
