This image shows a section of disconnected duct The image on the left shows a section of disconnected duct (see arrows). The duct served a local exhaust hood for a transfer point between conveyor belts. This makes this material transfer operation an uncontrolled point source of silica containing dust.
This images show an abandoned exhaust duct This images show an abandoned exhaust duct. Abandoned ducts may not even be capped. Abandoned ducts may indicate uncontrolled emission sources, exhaust air under capacity and exhaust system leakage problems.
