By exchanging information, employers and employees can improve workplace safety and health and help avoid fatalities. Employers should plan and coordinate work schedules to ensure work in these spaces does not create hazardous working conditions for the various trade/craft personnel. Exchanging Information
Exchanging Hazard Information
  • Employers whose employees work in confined and enclosed spaces or other dangerous atmospheres shall ensure that all available information on the hazards, safety rules, and emergency procedures concerning those spaces and atmospheres is exchanged with any other employer whose employees may enter the same spaces. [1915.12(f)]
