"Management
Commitment and Employee Involvement" includes a clear statement of:
- the importance
of safety and health protection.
- the goals
of the program and measures that will be taken to meet them,
- how top management
will be involved,
- how employees
will be involved and consulted,
- who is assigned
responsibility for parts of the program, and what authority and resources
are available to carry out the responsibility,
- how management
and employees will be held accountable for their responsibilities, and
- procedures
for annual reviews of progress toward the goals, with revisions as needed.
