A brief synopsis of the implementation methods for process Safety Management used since 1992 at Armour Swift-Eckrich. This will describe past successes and failures up to the time of the Kansas City Inspection.

The PSM Inspection - Tom Culross
A description of the OSHA inspection process for the Kansas City, KS, inspection. This section will describe the methods the inspectors used to determine plant compliance with PSM inculding interviews, review of records, and observation of physical conditions. A list of documents the inspection team requested will be discussed and distributed.

The Pre-Citation Settlement - Judi Freyman
A synopsis of the process leading to negotiation of the pre-citation settlement agreement including a review of the agreement terms.

The Citation and Settlement Agreement - Dennis Waugh
A discussion of the specific citations including the thirty-seven PSM citations classified as Serious. The detailed abatement plan (75 pages) will also be discussed.
